How the quote request works
A structured brief before you decide on the quote
A useful moving quote starts with more than floor area and a date. Describe both addresses, the actual carrying route, what is being moved, and the services you want assessed. A person reviews the details before a quote is sent. The form does not calculate an instant price, and submitting a request does not confirm a booking.
Movon lets you describe a move within Sweden or a longer route in Swedish or English. The same core details matter at every distance: addresses, inventory, access, dates, and any handover requirements.

Both addresses and the actual route to the vehicle
A postal code does not show how belongings will travel from the property to a suitable vehicle. Check the origin and destination separately. Two homes with the same floor area can have completely different access.
Record the floor, stairs, and whether there is an elevator. Door and elevator dimensions can help when space is tight. Include entrances, courtyards, garages, and the approximate carrying distance from each door to a possible loading point.
Include attics, basements, garages, balconies, and external storage units. State whether an elevator or loading area must be reserved and whether keys are available only at a fixed time. Do not present an unchecked parking space as guaranteed access.

Scope, dates, options, and items that need explanation
Floor area is a starting point, not an inventory. A clearer brief identifies larger furniture, an approximate box count, and anything staying behind. State whether the date is fixed or nearby dates could work.
Pianos, safes, large glass pieces, art, plants, and furniture that cannot be dismantled can change the handling. Add dimensions and weight when known, but do not invent exact figures. Use the comments for details that do not fit the standard choices.
Select packing, move-out cleaning, or storage only when you want it included in the assessment. Explain the scope. Help with a kitchen and fragile items is a different job from packing an entire home.

Read the moving quote as a job description
Do not compare totals in isolation. Check that each quote covers the same belongings, addresses, carrying routes, dates, and options as your request. A lower amount is not comparable if it assumes less work.
Read what the price includes, which price model is used, and how changes are handled. Check the validity period, payment details, and customer terms that apply to the job.
If an address, storage unit, or heavy item is missing, correct the brief before deciding. Ask for written clarification rather than leaving the question until moving day.
Describe the requested help along the moving route
Select the help you want assessed and explain where it is needed along the route. Each choice remains part of the quote request, not a separate booking.
